What is the Deal Truth Score and how is it calculated?
The Deal Truth Score is an independent rating from 1 to 10 based on 12 months of verified Australian price history for your product. A score of 10 means the deal is the lowest price seen in 12 months. We use publicly available price data and do not accept payments to adjust scores. Deals scoring 7 or above are published.
What counts as a "deal submission" on the Try Us plan?
Each unique deal you submit counts as one submission. Resubmissions of the same product after a price change also count. The 3-deal monthly limit resets on the first of each month. If you need to submit more deals regularly, the Essential plan allows 10 per month — enquire for current pricing.
My deal scored below 7 — can I resubmit?
Yes. If your pricing changes or you run a deeper discount, you can resubmit at any time. We'll re-verify and issue a new score. We'll also tell you exactly what score you received and why, so you know what needs to change.
What is a "guaranteed listing" on Essential and above?
On the Try Us plan, deals that score 7+ are published in queue order — during busy periods there may be a short wait. Essential, Featured, and Brand Partner plans guarantee your deal is published as soon as verification is complete, regardless of queue. Featured and Brand Partner also guarantee homepage placement.
How quickly will my deal go live after submission?
Try Us submissions are verified and published within 2 business days. Essential plans are published within 24 hours of verification. Featured and Brand Partner submissions are prioritised and typically go live within 24 hours of submission.
Why is newsletter inclusion only on paid plans?
Our weekly newsletter goes to verified Australian deal-seekers who actively opted in. Including only paid merchants ensures newsletter quality stays high — which in turn drives higher open rates and click-through rates for the merchants who are included.
Is there a contract or lock-in period for paid plans?
No. Essential, Featured, and Brand Partner plans are all month-to-month with no lock-in. Enquire at merchants@discountoffers.com.au for current pricing. You can cancel at any time by emailing support@discountoffers.com.au before your next billing date. There are no cancellation fees.
What happens when my deal expires?
Expired deals are automatically removed from the active listings. You can submit a new deal at any time within your monthly deal limit. Paid plans retain their placement tier for any active deal during the subscription period.
